dearest livejournal,
I send you my fondest apologies for neglecting you. Life has been too happy and amazing to begin to describe or to have time to describe. Disneyland weekend was sensational. The surf has been "epic". Leaving for sacramento tomarow; be back on presidents night! Belle and sebastian next month, and life is too good to me. I love you all.

White Dog
I went for a walk on Hollywood Boulevard.
I looked down and there was a large white dog
walking beside me.
his pace was exactly the same as mine.
we stopped at traffic signals together.
we crossed the side streets together.
a woman smiled at us.
he must have walked 8 blocks with me.
then I went into a grocery store and
when I came out he was gone.
or she was gone.
the wonderful white dog
with a trace of yellow in its fur.
the large blue eyes were gone.
the grinning mouth was gone.
the lolling tongue was gone.
things are so easily lost.
things just can't be kept forever.
I got the blues.
I got the blues.
that dog loved and
trusted me and
I let it walk away.

So far everything is beautiful this winter break!
it began with a swell
and surfing some lovely waves
 !
Today i got a record playa
and some bookies
and records
and most importantly
a hugeeeo painting of my favorite author, by the one and only
richard l. fine (el gulcho)
i love him and cherish it and haven't stopped smilling!
tonight was happpy!

last nightmy mother brother and i went and saw this man...
Donovan hasn't changed, one pinch!
his voiced sounded just the same
and he opened up with herdy gerdy
and played every happy beautiful song ever
it was about a 2 hour set...
he went so long he needed a 20
minute intermission!!!
i haven't really stopped smiling!

I was stressing over the fact that i had lost my copy of hamlet and my american poetry book.
this morning amanda came up to me and had my hamlet book (she found it in the parking lot!)
and then at nutrition i was buyinga muffin and i saw a poesy book sitting on the counter, i picked it up, and my name was in it!
this made me happy!
this weekend was sensational. youth and government was hilarious fun!
i get to surf tomarow!
and see jerrett on wednesday!
and be a happy child!!!!!!!!!!
